I am a Director of Studies and Special Supervisor in Law at Newnham College, Cambridge and a Doctoral Researcher at Trinity College, Cambridge and the Faculty of Law.
Before coming to Cambridge, I read for an LL.B. (Hons) degree in Law with Accounting & Finance at the University of Aberdeen. I then completed the LL.M at Harvard Law School and the B.C.L. (with Distinction) at Balliol College, Oxford. I also hold an M.B.A. degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
I am qualified as an Attorney in New York, as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and a Solicitor and Notary Public in Scotland. Following qualification, I worked for a number of years as a corporate lawyer in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and as chief of staff to the CEO of a global FTSE 100 company. I also serve as a Director and Secretary of the Harvard Law School Association of the United Kingdom.
